what happened to sub-ing an hour??
what will mum do to me if i ever got a tattoo like that?? i think i'll become homeless..anyway i don't think i have the guts to get one..although it does look quite preeetty..
that was a side-track..i went running this morning..oh phua!! heavy legs, heavy butt, aching body and dying lungs..that basically describes it..plus i played cheat at 2 uphills and gave up the last 2 plus km..i don't know what happened..
after the sheares bridge run in august, everything went downhill from there..didn't run as often as before and definitely not as far as before..but now, with the great eastern women's run coming up in slightly more than a month's time, it's time to put on the adibabies more often..
speaking of adibabies..i want a new pair..maybe it'll make me run more ;) haha..that's just a lame excuse..the current one is almost reaching a year old and is a bit worn out..and it's dirrrrrttyyy..all thanks to the crazy madness muddy padang that i had to tread through on the day of the sheares bridge run..plus it didn't help that some fat army guy stomped past me and splattered mud all over my legs and shoes!! i was too tired then, if not i would have given him a piece of my mind..so yes new shoes please!! but of course i'll have to wait til stanchart to use my 20% discount..
so according to adidas, for a road-runner, clocking mild mileage and who underpronates, i should be getting:
 supernova cushion 7 - purple or black/hot pink
 megabounce+ 2008 purple now choose one!!
in other old news, the sheares bridge timings came out some weeks ago..fared not bad, although i took a minute longer than the SHAPE run..ranked 86th out of 1167 women running in the 10km category based on gun time..the run itself was actually not a bad one, with the route being scenic save for the construction sites..plus i managed to keep constant and had enough energy throughout the entire run..
oh and did i mention that passing dying, sweaty, smelly, walking army boys gave a lot of satisfaction??
distance: 10km gun time: 01:03:47.47 net time: 01:02:25.25
now, to better that time... ...
but not with today's run of:
distance 7.08km time: 50min pace: 8.50km/h
anyway, on a separate note, this is cute:
i remember doing this a really really long time ago, but i couldn't remember what i was, and since i came across it again on someone's blog, i decided to do it again!!
